Programs and Specialized Services
At Wilkes Developmental Day School (WDDS), we provide individualized, developmentally appropriate services to support each child's unique needs. Our specialized programming includes:
Therapeutic Services
A full-time registered nurse is on site to monitor children's health and attend to any medical needs that may arise.
Early Intervention and Special Education
WDDS offers early intervention and special education services both in-center and in the home. We maintain a strong working relationship with the Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) to ensure continuity of care.
A full-time Infant-Toddler Specialist is also on staff to monitor developmental milestones and identify early signs of delay.
Highly Qualified Staff
Low Child-Staff Ratios
With parental permission, teachers use TS Gold assessments to evaluate each child's developmental progress. Assessment results guide individualized goal-setting and are shared with families to support learning at home.
